how they're made

​

all painted frames are made of 1" thick poplar hardwood, the wood is milled, cut to size, glued, and clamped flat in your desired layout. After the glue sets, we pocket hole screw the joints from behind. the frames are then put through the wide belt sander to 120 grit.

the doors and drawers are also made of 1" poplar hardwood with an MDF center for stability. the wood is cut to size and milled with a shaper for the desired profile. they're then glued and clamped flat, after they set up they go through the wide belt sander along with the frame.

​

after everything is put through the wide belt, the doors and drawers are cut to fit perfectly within the frame with an 1/8" reveal around them. then they're moved into the paint room to be professionally painted by hand.

 

the result is a beautiful set of flush inset doors and drawers pre-fit to work with your custom sized frame, ready to be glued onto your boxes and installed.

white oak doors/drawers would come with white oak veneered MDF in the center, surrounded by solid white oak.
